ABOUT
HI – I’m Adrian de Hutton, the owner of CAD Construction. Along with my capable team, we have over the last 26 years, completed many new homes, renovations and commercial ventures including some of our own developments. After finishing my studies in design (NhGD), and 2 years of being an understudy for a civil engineering company, I began my love for the construction industry. Venturing first into earthmoving and plant hire (which is still in operation under our sister company – TARGET PLANT HIRE), I first began renovating houses and selling them. We then bought and developed commercial and residential property and I realized that my skills and the ability to design, helped my projects by offering something other than an “off the shelf” product.
I have been lucky enough to have designed/built many of my own homes in the Noordhoek area, and have achieved top retail prices for these, which I believe is very much due to my careful attention to detail and design.
Each of our projects has unique elements that are designed and manufactured by ourselves, offering a more design/bespoke product which in turn allows us to interpret our clients’ story/journey, through the building process as they envisage it from the conception of storybook images/Pinterest boards etc, to the finished product. We have had homes featured in various décor magazines locally and abroad, and have achieved great returns for some of our clients who have contracted us for “spec/retail builds”.
We offer various pricing options from fixed price structures, consulting, design and building in conjunction with architectural firm Alex Stewart and partners and finally to project management on its own.

With over 12 years of experience in the building industry, Patrick Dierhoff brings a well-rounded skill set that combines on-site expertise with contract management proficiency. Having spent seven years as a Site Manager and five years as a Contracts Manager, he has successfully overseen a wide range of construction projects from planning through to completion. Patrick is known for his calm and solutions-driven approach under pressure, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate both the practical and contractual aspects of the job. He is committed to delivering projects that meet client expectations while maintaining efficiency, integrity, and long-term value. |
