HOUSE HENNINGS:

When my husband and I moved into our dream home, we actually had no idea that we were going to make so many changes to it!

By a stroke of good fortune, we met Adrian de Hutton at the beginning of our process. I had just come out of 18 months of renovating our previous house, and I swore never to do it again! Honestly, if it weren’t for the way Adrian managed our building process, as well as discussions with our architect and between my husband and I, I actually believe we may not have survived! He was absolutely brilliant at knowing exactly what each of us needed from the process, and his attention to detail and OCD about getting things perfect even surpassed my own!  An absolute first for me!

He also moved things along speedily, correctly reading that my husband likes a lot of visual progress on a daily basis. His team were always on time, extremely pleasant to deal with and Adrian himself was on site often, checking and double checking. Almost every day we had a meeting where Adrian chatted through what was happening that day, possible changes to make and offering us ideas and alternatives when we ran out of steam and creativity. At the same time, he never imposed his ideas over ours, and was always quick to support some of my crazy suggestions with ways to make them more practical.

He made what could have been a very, very unpleasant build into an experience that included lots of laughter, a beautiful house that perfectly reflects who we are as a couple and a new friendship with an incredibly professional construction guy. Thanks Adrian – more than you know!
